USA, 2003, DVD, 1.33 aspect ratio (4x3 video) color, with spoken English narration, musical accompaniment, 4 minutes.

The short film We Two Boys inhabits the world of post-Civil War America, as seen through it's queer poet, Walt Whitman.
Using his classic poem from "Leaves of Grass" as a starting point, We Two Boys is an animation that brings together written and spoken word, music, and image in a lyrical tribute to affectionate men in the 19th century.
